HBC Real Estate has had the pleasure to represent Elastic since its creation when they span out of their Venture Capitalist’s offices to take 3,500 sq ft of their own in Soho.
Expansion took them to 5 Southampton Street in London’s Covent Garden in 2015 where they took 6,300 sq ft on the 2nd floor. Continued expansion created a need for more space in the building and HBC Real estate have recently completed the re-gearing of the 2nd floor lease to now coincide with the acquisition of a new lease on the 1st floor where 7,360 sq ft was recently released.
Elastic now have the space they need for their future in London but with a couple of break options in their lease they have the built-in ability to release themselves from this liability to relocate as necessary. Whilst the terms of the deal remain confidential an excellent rent was negotiated with initial rent free period and additional rent free should break options not be exercised.
